Who are these workshops for?

Both workshops are designed for women desiring healing and wholeness on the other side of wounding, grievous, or traumatic life experiences. "Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story..."  - Psalm 107:2

Jesus was crucified on a Friday...a day that represents unimaginable suffering, pain, heartache, betrayal, and agony. But we find hope in the fact that His story didn't end there...the glorious day came of his Resurrection! Sunday brought with it life, joy, freedom, hope, comfort, peace, and wholeness.

Still, His resurrection didn't cancel out the reality of the Saturday in between, a day full of sorrow, grief, and lamenting.

In your own healing journey, it can be tempting to jump from Friday to Sunday, without the Saturday experience. However, something beautiful happens when you invite Jesus into your brokenness and engage your particular stories that brought sorrow, despair, shame, or fear.

This process brings you to a place of resurrection, where you are able to make meaning of your story, see how God has been at work in and through your story, and ultimately, discover how your story is woven into a bigger story...God's redemptive story!

This workshop will take you through some practical steps to engage your story!

"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being."  - Genesis 2:7

How's your breathing? Maybe you haven't given much thought to the 22,000 involuntary breaths you take every day, but your breath is a necessary function to physically sustain your life. Breathing is just as vital for intimate connection with God. Every breath inhaled and exhaled is a remarkable gift and a means of worship.

Learn what Scripture has to say about breath and meditation, and how both play a huge role in bringing a sense of calm, peace, balance, relaxation, safety, and recovery to your nervous system.

This is more than an informational workshop, it's hands-on! Andrea will walk attendees through Body-focused exercises and biblically grounded Scripture meditation practices, with the purpose of bringing true transformation for the anxious, traumatized, disconnected, broken, exhausted, or wounded individual.

In the same way our lungs need to take in oxygen, we also need to breathe in Scripture, the inspired Word of God, as oxygen for our heart, mind, and soul.

Afternoon Workshop: Breath of Life
