My Background...
I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling through Colorado theological Seminary, with advanced certification in Crisis and Abuse Therapy.
I am licensed through, and practice under the code of ethics of the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA). You can read their Code of Ethics HERE. I am commissioned by, and under the covering of my church as a Pastoral Counselor (I am not a state licensed mental health therapist).
I am certified as a Genesis Process Relapse Prevention Coach (40 hours), a Domestic Abuse Advocate (135+ hours), a Level 2 Certified Christian Trauma Care Provider (14 hours), and have completed Level 1 training through the Institute for Sexual Wholeness (40 hours). I deeply value both personal and professional growth and remain committed to ongoing education, training, and continued skill development.
My Goal...
Is to generously and wholeheartedly meet people where they are—in their challenges, struggles, or brokenness—and offer my support and guidance as they choose to take steps toward healing, wholeness, and restoration.
My Approach...
Is to provide counseling that's Christ-centered, compassionate, goal-oriented, conversational, values-focused, collaborative, while also gently challenging clients to grow and change.
My Loves...
The Word of God, my three daughters whom I've had the privilege of homeschooling since 2009 (two have graduated), walking, paddle boarding, hiking, visiting the beach, Thai food, kombucha, holey jeans, being out in nature, spending time with friends, red tea latte's, naps, connecting with people in deep & meaningful ways, public speaking, reading, worship, and laughter.
