Below are some important/helpful details.
1) Domestic Abuse Counseling Services:
I offer Christ-centered counseling to women who have experienced, past or presently, an abusive/controlling relationship. I come alongside women to support them as they seek to navigate their specific situation and circumstances. Where applicable, I will give recommendation for support groups, assess for safety, help create a safety plan, work with the spouses counselor through a disclosure/impact process, walk through healthy vs unhealthy behaviors, discuss the difference between godly sorrow vs worldly sorrow, teach about God's heart for women and what a biblical marriage should look like, develop healthy boundaries, share ways to support children, help navigate through separation/divorce, and help women rediscover their God-given identity, value, purpose, and worth.
2) My timeslots:
Wednesday Mornings/Afternoons - 9:30, 10:45, 12:30, 1:45
Wednesday Evenings - 6:00
Thursday Afternoon/Evenings - 1:30, 2:45, 4:15, 5:30
Friday Mornings/Afternoons - 9:00, 10:15, 12:00, 1:15
3) My Fees:
I offer a “Payment Range” of $75-$150 for sessions. This allows each client to evaluate their financial situation and determine a manageable amount to pay, within the range provided, that works best with their budget. Add on a one-time fee of $30 if you choose to do the temperament assessment.
4) Insurance:
I am private pay so do not bill insurance.
5) Scheduling an Initial Intake:
I will look over the day/time preferences you provided me with and be in touch to let you know the soonest time slots I have available. If I am unable to add you on as a client, I will provide you with several counseling referrals.
In the event a new client is a no-show to their initial intake appointment, I reserve the right to not move forward in counseling. I understand life is busy and it's easy to forget, therefore, I provide automated email reminders several days in advance and a day of text reminder with a goal to prevent a no-show from happening.
6) Sessions:
I offer in-person, video, or phone sessions. Please be in a quiet/private space for all phone or video sessions. If the focus of counseling pertains to domestic abuse or relational issues with anyone in your home, all telehealth appointments need to be in a separate location from the individual. This is to ensure confidentiality and confidence to talk freely and openly. For video, prop your device up on a desk or table, situated so I have a straight view of the front of your
face. I reserve the right to end the session and charge the full rate if any of these requests aren’t honored.
